The fantastic Mr. and Mrs. Harns

My friend Tina is the most stunning pregnant woman I have ever seen. She also happens to be my best friend. I had the opportunity to try my hand at some photography and take some maternity pictures for her and her husband Chris. I think they turned out pretty decent...I'll let you be the judge of that.

Driving Ms Julia

My husband got a job flying for Express Jet out of Newark New Jersey. He would be in Houson for his training for two months, and my mother came to stay with me and help me get ready for the move. In a moment of panic, anxiety, and frustrations with my job I decided I would take advantage of my mother's presence, and we would rent a U-haul trailer, hook it to the back of her van, and drive cross country to New York City. So, that is what we did. With everything I own, including my dog Zoe, I left all my friends, job, and sense of stability behind me. Luckily for Josh and I, my parents own a small apartment, about 450-500 sq/ft, which they want to fix up, renovate the bathroom, sand down the floors etc, and then sell. With the profit, they plan on buying a multifamily home in Brooklyn. I have been given the task of completing these renovations while living in the apartment rent free, which I'm so thrilled about. Not just the rent free aspect, I love to renovate and design. So, this is going to be my quest for the next year, get this apartment looking clean and beautiful, and get it sold.

I'll post some pictures of the scenery I took from the window of the moving car.
